DebtMarket release version 2.7:
* Improvements to the Listing Process
* Next Steps for Sellers
* Improved Seller Survey

Hot on the heels of the DebtMarket V2.6 release, we have made some additional improvements to the DebtMarket application including speed increases, larger loan capabilities for detailed listings and an updated Seller Survey. Just a few weeks ago we released our brand new listing process. We have received a lot of feedback from our members and in this release we have made some adjustments. We will continue to fine tune our listing process and as always, we appreciate the suggestions and feedback from our seller members. Below are a brief synopsis of two of the more important features of our V2.7 release.

Improved Transaction Process

DebtMarket is an end-to-end transaction management platform and we have had tremendous success bringing buyers and sellers together in our marketplace. However, we recognize that whole loan transactions benefit from a standard, efficient and clear due diligence, contract negotiation and funding process. DebtMarket is developing a more robust system that will focus on the post-marketplace transaction process . Our first step in this process starts with this V2.7 release. Now, our transaction management system starts immediately upon a Seller listing a portfolio. This feature improves a DebtMarket Seller’s ability to manage and track multiple portfolios in various transaction stages on DebtMarket. Sellers will notice a new column on the Active Listings screen indicating any ”NEXT STEPS” required to move any portfolio sale towards closing. This improvement is the first of many our user experience team will be implementing over the next 6 months. The image below displays this new column.

Updated Seller Survey

We’ve begun to improve our automatic reporting and with this release buyers will see enhancements to our automatically generated Seller Survey. Upon listing, Sellers fill out a standard questionnaire. DebtMarket collects this information and our reporting engine generates the seller survey providing potential buyers with a better understanding of their transaction counter-party. Transparency continues to be one of DebtMarket’s ultimate objectives and we will listen to our members suggestions and implement features and functionality that help us achieve our goal.

As always, if there are any ways we can improve your experience with DebtMarket or help you list a portfolio for sale, do not hesitate to contact us at feedback [Email address: feedback #AT# debtmarket.com - replace #AT# with @ ]or call us at 866-559-4339.

    * Improved Spreadsheet Templates
    * Context-Sensitive Help

Greetings from DebtMarket! We continue to roll-out our new and improved user interface (UI) this month and are excited to introduce:

An Improved Listing Process

A New Asset Class: Commercial Mortgages

Improved Spreadsheet Templates

Context-Sensitive Help

Our New and Improved Listing Process

DebtMarket now has three ways you can list a portfolio:

Detailed Listing: our standard listing which automatically generates detailed graphs and charts from your data;

Summary Listing: for portfolios over $1M or more than 100 loans, where you provide portfolio summary data;

Preview Listing: when you want to test the waters on a portfolio and gather feedback from our buyers.

In 2.5 we gave you a first look at our new UI with our redesigned marketplace. We continue our new and improved listing process in 2.6, which makes is easy to list your Mortgage, Vehicular, or Student Loan portfolio. We recommend Detailed Listing using our standardized templates that automatically creates detailed graphs and charts greatly increasing the possibility of a more competitive bid.

Commercial Mortgage Asset Class

Thanks to your feedback and comments, we’ve separated our Mortgage asset class into two distinct classes: Residential Mortgage and Commercial Mortgage. Commercial Mortgage listings have become popular, and in addition have specific data, document and transaction needs. You can now list a Commercial Mortgage Portfolio with all the detailed information buyers need to analyze before bidding. We invite you to try it out.

Improved Spreadsheet Templates

If you’ve posted a Detailed Listing with us, you know we provide an asset specific spreadsheet template for your data. Using our spreadsheet allows our system to automatically analyze your data to provide detailed graphs and charts for prospective buyers. Thanks to your feedback, we have revised our templates to collect more of the data buyers want to see.

Introducing Context Sensitive Help

As much as we’d love our customers to spend all day on our site, we know you are a busy bunch and log in when you want something. In 2.6 we have introduced explanation text, pop-up help and tool-tips. Confused by something? Mouse-over the area and you’ll see a helpful tool-tip. We have just begun to add this roll-over help, so if you don’t see one yet, feel free to contact us to let us know.

Happy Holidays. DebtMarket releases 2.5 with the following features and improvements:

• A First Look at New UI
• Portfolio Preview

Season’s Greetings from DebtMarket. While we hope you’ve been enjoying the Holidays with your family and friends; we have been putting the final touches on our last release of the year. Here’s what we have for you in 2.5.

A first look at some new UI
In 2.5 we are starting to roll out a new user interface and you’ll get a first glimpse of it with the new Portfolio Preview feature. Portfolio sellers can now easily see all their loans on one easy to view and sort page. Buyers view pertinent portfolio stats at a glance in addition to our standard filters. This is a first peek and we have more UI improvements in store for 2010.

Portfolio Preview
Listing a large portfolio with loan level data can sometimes be tedious. Extracting the key data from your system, massaging it to fit into excel and uploading it can take more time that you have. Sometimes you want to test the water to see if there is interest in your portfolio before pulling the loan level data.We now offer Portfolio Previews for portfolios that have more than 100 loans or are valued at over $1,000,000. Complete the basic portfolio data, with as little as portfolio size, credit quality, number of loans, documentation and remaining term; and your portfolio can be listed as a preview in our marketplace. Interested buyers are notified of your portfolio. Buyers cannot bid on your preview; however they can indicate they are interested in your portfolio. Once you receive sufficient interest, pull your loan level data and convert your preview into a formal listing.

DebtMarket 2.4 focuses on improvements for our Student Loan Asset Class:
* Student Portfolio Template Update
* New Data Charts for Student Loans

Hello from the DebtMarket product team. We’ve got some updates for our purveyors of student loans. Here’s what’s in our latest release.

Student Portfolio Template Update
We’ve gotten great feedback since adding student loans as an asset class and have updated our portfolio template based on your suggestions. We have added a new selection to the student status field: dropped out. Now you can specify whether the loan holder is still in school, graduated or dropped out.

New Data Charts for Student Loans
We’ve added two new charts to the Student Portfolio Summary: student status and student school type. Providing this information at a high level facilitates a faster assessment of the portfolio.

We hope these features improve your DebtMarket experience with student loans.
